Competition Rooms
You can choose the schedule that works best for you and your room availability (see Schedule) but you will need the number of rooms for the following patterns/events. Remember we usually start with LD (smaller room size and smallyer rooms number needed) and work up to the end of the day needing more rooms. We also will condense and need less (but larger) rooms as the tournament reaches Quarter-finals, Semi-finals and Finals on the last day of competition.
LD Rounds--50 smaller rooms
Pattern A (Ext, Prose) -- 65 rooms (25 of those near extemp draw)
Pattern B (ADS, RC, DI) -- 80 rooms
Pattern C (Inf, Pers, Poe) --90 rooms
Pattern D (Duo, Imp, POI) --90 rooms
Octa-Finals--18-38 medium size rooms (depending on the pattern...Pattern A needs 18, B and C need 27 and D needs 38)
Quarter-Finals -20-24 larger rooms (seats at least 50 people)
Semi-Finals--10-14 Large rooms (seats 75 people)
Final Rooms--6 Lecture Halls (seats as least 100 people)
